SketchUp Drawing

SketchUp is a very good website where you can build models of things very fast which can save you a lot of time and it comes out very neat. Another thing people have said is that it is very easy with this software to change things up in the middle whether it is details, the scene or even materials. One downfall of this software is that it isn’ very easy to dimension things in 3D view.

AutoCad Drawing

AutoCad has the ability to make changes quickly to things that you may have messed up and you can even turn different layers on and off so that helps with more effective drawing times. The only thing that is disliked about AutoCad is that there is no 3D option to look at your drawings.

Revit Drawing

Revit is a nice software because it is known to not crash like the other softwares commonly do. Revit also has very good visualization tools. One unfortunate feature that comes with Revit is that there are a lot of installation requirements that makes a lot of extra softwares get installed and it takes up a lot of time.

Rhino Drawing

Rhino’s software is great with 3D modeling. One thing a lot of people like about it is that it allows you to convert your 3D drawings into a variety of 3D file types. A big disadvantage of this software is that the line weights and layouts are difficult to use.

VR and AR Software

VR is something that designers really appreciate because of the experiences it gives with the sensory experience by using sight, touch, hearing and smell. The goal they are trying to achieve with this is that you can create a virtual enviroment without the boundaries you have on a computer or TV. AR is a software that is a live direct or indirect view of a physical enviroment that is “real-world” and it has sensory input such as sound, graphics, video and more. Both of these softwares are very useful to designers as they are designing spaces because overall it gives a more real-world experience than other softwares.
